Job summary

The Brigham and Women's Hospital, part of Mass General Brigham, is seeking an MRI technologist to perform MRI studies, prepare patients, and ensure safety across procedures. You will collaborate with radiologists and nursing staff to deliver high-quality imaging.

ARRT MR or ARMRIT certification is preferred. This full-time onsite role includes a sign-on bonus and rotating shifts at 45 Francis Street, Boston, with a competitive pay range.

Qualifications

• MRI technologist must have ARRT MR or ARMRIT preferred.
• Associate's Degree in Medical Imaging preferred.
• MRI experience with patient populations desired.

Responsibilities

• Verify patient identity and exam details in compliance with standards.
• Conduct MRI scans for ambulatory patients, including image acquisition.
• Perform IV insertions and contrast injections with safety monitoring.
• Educate patients on MRI safety and respond to equipment-related issues.
• Perform routine quality control checks on MRI equipment.
• Assist with scheduling, patient transport, and departmental logistics.
