• Scheduled Hours: 1-9:30 W, Thur, Fri and 7:30-4pm Sundays

Job Responsibilities

1. Perform MRI scans to produce high-quality images, assisting physicians and radiologists in diagnosis.
2. Obtain and record patient information, verify orders, and review lab results.
3. Assess patients physically and psychologically, adjusting procedures as needed, and ensure safety protocols are followed.
4. Assist with patient positioning, select imaging protocols, and monitor procedures.
5. Administer contrast media and process images, ensuring quality and proper documentation.
6. Maintain equipment, perform quality control, and keep the work environment clean and stocked.
7. Stay updated with field advancements through continuing education and professional participation.
8. Coordinate with radiologists for daily schedules and protocols.
9. Assist in other modalities as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent.
• ARRT registration or eligibility.
• ARRT MR certification within 90 days of employment.
• BLS certification.

Physical and Environmental Demands

Involves standing, walking, sitting, and physical exertion up to 50 pounds, with specific activity ratios provided.
