Qualifications

Job description

Hourly Wage Estimate: $68.74 - $87.00 / hour

Job Summary

As an MRI Technologist, you will operate the MRI scanners to obtain images for use by the physician in the diagnosis and treatment of pathologies. You will perform procedures to demonstrate sectional anatomic images for interpretations by or at the request of a licensed practitioner. You will exercise professional judgment in performance of services and maintain a demeanor complementary to medical ethics. You will demonstrate proficiency and knowledge of non-imaging procedures/skills for all age groups served. You will perform procedures efficiently and according to the protocol for radiologic interpretation. You may need to lie patients or assist in lifting on and off the exam table to position for procedures. You will need to perform MRI procedures at a technical level not requiring direct supervision to keep procedures on schedule with no deviation due to lack of technical expertise.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technology Program (required)
• Basic Cardiac Life Support, obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• RRT/Radiologic Technologist (RT) credential
• Minimum 1-3 years’ experience in MRI preferred
• Venipuncture Certification preferred within one year
