Job Summary

The MRI Technologist is responsible for performing a variety of imaging procedures as ordered by a physician. This role involves day-to-day activities to ensure the delivery of quality patient care within a diagnostic/therapeutic environment.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate the operations of the MRI department.
• Assist the MRI Supervisor with day‑to‑day operations, balancing budgetary constraints, equipment and personnel needs, and quality improvement.
• Demonstrate knowledge of growth and development across the lifespan and assess patient needs relative to age‑specific requirements.
• Deliver compassionate, holistic care while supporting the rights and dignity of all patients.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technologist program.
• Certification/License: Current registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). MRI registered or must obtain within 6 months of hire.
• American Heart Basic Life Support (BLS).
• One year of experience preferred.
