Job summary

HCA HealthONE Rose is seeking an MRI technologist to operate MRI scanners, interview patients, position them for examinations, and perform high-quality imaging with professionalism.

The role emphasizes patient comfort, adherence to protocols, and accurate documentation while maintaining scanners and contributing to student training during rotations.

Qualifications

  • ARRT MR registry certification required or ARMRIT equivalent.
  • BLS verification required; CPR-compliant.
  • Graduate of an accredited radiologic program; HS diploma or GED.
  • One year MRI experience preferred; formal training completed.

Job description

Hourly Wage Estimate: $33.44 - $51.26 / hour

Shift: Monday – Wednesday 7:00 a.m. – 7:30 p.m.

Job Summary And Qualifications

As an MRI technologist, you operate MRI scanners and ensure that images are of the highest quality for diagnostic use. You interview patients, explain procedures, position them on the table, and perform exams with care, accuracy, and professionalism.

Responsibilities
  • Position and prepare patients for exams according to procedure type.
  • Perform MRI procedures and assess patients throughout, responding to their needs.
  • Complete appropriate documentation for each study performed.
  • Use professional discernment and critical thinking during procedures.
  • Participate in orientation and training of new staff members and teach students during clinical rotations.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of scanners and exam protocols to ensure highest quality procedures.
Qualifications
  • Currently registered as an MRI technologist (ARRT MR registry).
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) verification, as specified in policy.
  • Current registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
  • Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology.
  • One year of experience in an MRI imaging department preferred.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
  • High School Graduate / GED.
  • (ARRT‑MR) Magnetic Resonance Imaging, or (ARMRIT) American Registry of MRI Technologists.
