Job summary

Lakeview Hospital in Bountiful, Utah is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to provide excellent patient care in our Imaging department. You'll perform MRI exams on patients of all ages under physician direction, using your advanced technical knowledge.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 7 days of start.
• ARRT-MR (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) certification required.
• ARRT-R (Radiography) certification required.
• RT (Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer) certification required.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in Radiologic Technology.

Job Summary and Qualifications

As a MRI Technologist you will perform and demonstrate your professional knowledge to provide care for patients in the Imaging department. You will work under the direction of a physician, performing MRI examinations to patients of all ages with advanced technical knowledge.

• Under the direction of a physician, perform MRI examinations for patients of all ages using advanced technical knowledge.
• Perform all responsibilities with minimal supervision, exercising independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative.
• Maintain advanced knowledge of MRI equipment, examinations, and collaborate with students and staff teaching MRI technology.
• Assess and provide care for all patients, interpreting information in terms of the patient’s needs and understanding of the range of treatment required.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification obtained within 7 days of employment start date.
• Certification: ARRT-MR (Magnetic Resonance Imaging)
• Certification: ARRT-R (Radiography)
• Certification: RT (Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer)
• Associate Degree.
