Job summary

Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center is seeking an MRI Technologist to provide high-quality patient-centered care in the Imaging department. The role requires performing MRI examinations and acting with minimal supervision while maintaining compassion and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 7 days of starting.
• ARRT-MR certification in Magnetic Resonance Imaging is required.
• Experience can substitute for formal education.
• ARMRIT or ARRT-R certification in Radiography is welcome.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI examinations on patients of all ages.
• Exercise independent judgment and initiative in the role.
• Maintain advanced knowledge of MRI equipment and procedures.
• Assess and treat patients based on their specific needs.

Hourly Wage Estimate: $30.34 - $42.47 / hour

Job Summary And Qualifications

As an MRI Technologist you will perform and demonstrate your professional knowledge to provide care for our patients served in the Imaging department. • Under the direction of a physician, you will perform MRI examination to patients of all ages using advanced technical knowledge.
• You will be expected to perform all responsibilities with minimal supervision, and the latitude for independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative.
• You will be responsible for advanced knowledge of the complexities of MRI equipment, examinations, and working with students, staff teaching MRI technology.
• You will be responsible for the assessment; treatment/care for all patients, which includes ability to interpret information in terms of the patient’s needs and understanding of the range of treatment needed.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 7 days of employment start date
• (ARRT-MR) Magnetic Resonance Imaging
• Work Experience in lieu of Degree
• (ARMRIT) American Registry of MRI Technologists, or (ARRT-R) Radiography
