Job summary

Piedmont Augusta Hospital is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform diagnostic MRI examinations under the Radiologist's supervision. You will care for patients across all age groups, ensuring safety and comfort throughout imaging procedures.

The role requires graduation from an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or a JRCERT accredited training program, with ARDMS/ARRT registration and BCLS certification at hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program.
• No experience required.
• Licenses: ARDMS or ARRT Radiography registration; BCLS at hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic MRI examinations under the direct guidance of the Radiologist.
• Provide patient care across neonatal to geriatric populations, ensuring safety and comfort.

Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) technologists utilize the resonant frequency properties of atoms within a magnetic field to image anatomic and/or physiologic conditions of the body to assist physicians in the diagnosis of disease. MR technologists perform diagnostic magnetic resonance examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist. MR Technologists provide patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.
