Job summary

Piedmont Henry Hospital is seeking an MRI Technologist to image anatomical and physiologic conditions using MRI technology under the guidance of a Radiologist. You will perform diagnostic MRI examinations and provide patient care across neonatal to geriatric patients in a collaborative radiology team.

Required: AMA/ARRT radiologic technology training and BCLS; no experience is required, 6 months as MRI Tech preferred.

Qualifications

• AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program.
• BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required

Responsibilities

• Image diagnostic MRI examinations under supervision of the Radiologist according to prescribed standards.
• Provide patient care to all age groups including neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.

Responsibilities

Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) technologists utilize the resonant frequency properties of atoms within a magnetic field to image anatomic and/or physiologic conditions of the body to assist physicians in the diagnosis of disease. MR technologists perform diagnostic magnetic resonance examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist. MR Technologists provide patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.
