Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking a qualified MRI Technologist to operate MRI equipment for neonate through geriatric patients in an outpatient setting, ensuring high-quality tomographic images. The ideal candidate will hold an accredited MRI program graduate status with RT/ARMRIT/ARRT MR credentials and BLS certification.

Candidates should have at least 1 year of diagnostic radiology experience and be able to maintain patient safety and comfort during imaging sessions.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology or Accredited Magnetic Resonance Imaging Program.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) with one year of experience in diagnostic radiology or ARMRIT (MR) registry or ARRT (MR) only registry in lieu of ARRT (RT) certification and diagnostic radiology experience.
• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI equipment to produce tomographic images for patients across age groups in outpatient settings.

Responsibilities

Magnetic Resonance Imaging equipment to produce tomographic films of designated portions of the human body for neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients in an outpatient setting.

Qualifications

REQUIRED

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology or Accredited Magnetic Resonance Imaging Program.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) with one (1) year of experience in diagnostic radiology or ARMRIT (MR) registry or ARRT (MR) only registry in lieu of ARRT (RT) certification and diagnostic radiology experience.
• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support

PREFERRED

• Registered MRI Technologist by ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT (MR)
• One (1) year of training and experience in MRI.
