Job summary

Northside Hospital Inc. is seeking an MRI Technologist to operate MR equipment and acquire diagnostic images across neonatal to geriatric patients in an outpatient setting.

Ideal candidates hold ARRT MR or ARMRIT eligibility/credentials, or RT with radiology experience, and maintain American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification. Work hours are 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology or Accredited Magnetic Resonance Imaging Program.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) with one year of experience in diagnostic radiology or ARMRIT (MR) registry or ARRT (MR) only registry in lieu of ARRT (RT) certification and diagnostic radiology experience.
• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI equipment to produce tomographic films for diverse patient ages in outpatient settings.

Responsibilities

Magnetic Resonance Imaging equipment to produce tomographic films of designated portions of the human body for neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients in an outpatient setting.

Qualifications

REQUIRED

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology or Accredited Magnetic Resonance Imaging Program.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) with one (1) year of experience in diagnostic radiology or ARMRIT (MR) registry or ARRT (MR) only registry in lieu of ARRT (RT) certification and diagnostic radiology experience.
• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support

PREFERRED

• Registered MRI Technologist by ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT (MR)
• One (1) year of training and experience in MRI.
