Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking an MRI technologist to operate MRI equipment and produce tomographic images for a broad patient mix in an outpatient setting.

The candidate must graduate from an accredited Radiologic Technology or MRI program and hold BLS; ARMRIT MR or ARRT MR registry is preferred, with at least one year of radiology or MRI experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology or Accredited Magnetic Resonance Imaging Program.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) with one year of experience in diagnostic radiology or ARMRIT (MR) registry or ARRT (MR) only registry in lieu of ARRT (RT) certification and diagnostic radiology experience.
• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI equipment to produce tomographic images for patients across neonate to geriatric in an outpatient setting.

Responsibilities

Magnetic Resonance Imaging equipment to produce tomographic films of designated portions of the human body for neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients in an outpatient setting.

Qualifications

REQUIRED

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology or Accredited Magnetic Resonance Imaging Program.


• Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) with one (1) year of experience in diagnostic radiology or ARMRIT (MR) registry or ARRT (MR) only registry in lieu of ARRT (RT) certification and diagnostic radiology experience.


• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support

PREFERRED

• Registered MRI Technologist by ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT (MR)


• One (1) year of training and experience in MRI.
