Job summary

Northside Hospital Inc. in Canton, Georgia is seeking a skilled MRI Technician to operate Magnetic Resonance Imaging equipment for patients of all ages in an outpatient setting. The ideal candidate will be a graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology or a Magnetic Resonance Imaging Program and possess certification as a Registered Radiologic Technologist.

The position requires weekend hours, including Friday to Monday shifts. Candidates must also hold an American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification.

Qualifications

• Must have one year of experience in diagnostic radiology or certification equivalent.
• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support.

Responsibilities

• Operate Magnetic Resonance Imaging equipment to produce tomographic films.
• Work with neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.

Responsibilities

Magnetic Resonance Imaging equipment to produce tomographic films of designated portions of the human body for neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients in an outpatient setting.

Qualifications

REQUIRED

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology or Accredited Magnetic Resonance Imaging Program.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) with one (1) year of experience in diagnostic radiology or ARMRIT (MR) registry or ARRT (MR) only registry in lieu of ARRT (RT) certification and diagnostic radiology experience.
• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support

PREFERRED

• Registered MRI Technologist by ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT (MR)
• One (1) year of training and experience in MRI.

Work Hours:

Friday 9AM- 530P, Saturday 7AM-730PM, Sunday 7AM- 730PM, Monday 9AM-530PM
