Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to perform magnetic resonance imaging procedures for patients across all age groups in an outpatient setting.

The role requires graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology or MRI program, RT licensure, and current AHA Basic Life Support certification. Typical hours are 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, onsite in Georgia.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology or Accredited Magnetic Resonance Imaging Program.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) with one year of diagnostic radiology experience or ARMRIT (MR) registry or ARRT (MR) registry in lieu of RT.
• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI equipment to produce tomographic films for neonate to geriatric patients in outpatient setting.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures.
• Maintain regulatory and quality standards for MR imaging.

Responsibilities

Magnetic Resonance Imaging equipment to produce tomographic films of designated portions of the human body for neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients in an outpatient setting.

Qualifications

REQUIRED

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology or Accredited Magnetic Resonance Imaging Program.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) with one (1) year of experience in diagnostic radiology or ARMRIT (MR) registry or ARRT (MR) only registry in lieu of ARRT (RT) certification and diagnostic radiology experience.
• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support

PREFERRED

• Registered MRI Technologist by ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT (MR)
• One (1) year of training and experience in MRI.
