Job summary

Northside Hospital in Atlanta seeks a qualified MRI Technologist to operate MRI equipment and produce tomographic images for diverse patients in an outpatient setting. The role requires completing an accredited MR program, valid RT or MR registry, and BLS certification. You will collaborate with radiology staff to ensure high-quality imaging and patient safety.

Local Atlanta area; on-site position with standard hospital hours and opportunity to contribute to a growing imaging department.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology or Accredited Magnetic Resonance Imaging Program.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) with one year of experience in diagnostic radiology or ARMRIT (MR) registry or ARRT (MR) only registry in lieu of ARRT (RT) certification and diagnostic radiology experience.
• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support

Magnetic Resonance Imaging equipment to produce tomographic films of designated portions of the human body for neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients in an outpatient setting.

REQUIRED

1. Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology or Accredited Magnetic Resonance Imaging Program.
2. Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) with one (1) year of experience in diagnostic radiology or ARMRIT (MR) registry or ARRT (MR) only registry in lieu of ARRT (RT) certification and diagnostic radiology experience.
3. Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support

PREFERRED

1. Registered MRI Technologist by ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT (MR)
2. One (1) year of training and experience in MRI.
