Job summary

Northside Hospital Inc. is seeking an MRI Technologist to operate MRI equipment and produce tomographic films for patients across age groups in an outpatient setting.

The ideal candidate will be a graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or MRI program, with BLS and ARMRIT MR/ARRT MR credentials preferred, and at least one year of diagnostic radiology experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or accredited MRI program.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist with 1 year diag radiology experience OR MR registry without RT.
• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI equipment to produce tomographic films for neonate to geriatric patients.
• Perform image acquisition and ensure proper patient positioning.
• Maintain safety and quality control in outpatient MRI procedures.

Responsibilities

Magnetic Resonance Imaging equipment to produce tomographic films of designated portions of the human body for neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients in an outpatient setting.

Qualifications

REQUIRED

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology or Accredited Magnetic Resonance Imaging Program.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) with one (1) year of experience in diagnostic radiology or ARMRIT (MR) registry or ARRT (MR) only registry in lieu of ARRT (RT) certification and diagnostic radiology experience.
• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support

PREFERRED

• Registered MRI Technologist by ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT (MR)
• One (1) year of training and experience in MRI.
