Job summary

Northside Hospital Inc. is seeking an MRI Technologist in the Atlanta area to operate MRI equipment and capture tomographic images for patients across all age groups in an outpatient setting.

The position requires graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology or MRI program, registration as RT or MR (or MR registry eligibility), and American Heart Association BLS certification. ARRT MR or ARMRIT MR credentials are preferred for this role.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology or MRI program is required.
• RT (or MR) certification/eligibility is required per ARRT/ARMRIT guidelines.
• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Operate Magnetic Resonance Imaging equipment to produce tomographic images for neonate to geriatric patients in an outpatient setting.

Education

Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology or Accredited Magnetic Resonance Imaging Program

Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) with one year of diagnostic radiology experience or ARMRIT MR registry or ARRT MR registry eligibility

Responsibilities

Operate Magnetic Resonance Imaging equipment to produce tomographic films of designated portions of the human body for neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients in an outpatient setting.

Qualifications

REQUIRED

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology or Accredited Magnetic Resonance Imaging Program.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) with one (1) year of experience in diagnostic radiology or ARMRIT (MR) registry or ARRT (MR) only registry in lieu of ARRT (RT) certification and diagnostic radiology experience.
• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support

PREFERRED

• Registered MRI Technologist by ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT (MR)
• One (1) year of training and experience in MRI.
