Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking a Registered Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist to operate MRI equipment and produce tomographic films for neonatal to geriatric patients in an outpatient setting. The role emphasizes patient safety, image quality, and teamwork within the radiology department.

The ideal candidate will have ARRT MR or ARMRIT MR certification, completed MRI training, and BLS certification; one year of experience is preferred. Work hours are 9:00AM to 5:30PM.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program or MRI program.
• RT certification required; MR registry or ARRT MR registry substitution if experienced.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI equipment to produce tomographic films for neonate to geriatric patients in outpatient settings.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures.
• Maintain image quality, proper documentation, and adherence to radiation safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

Magnetic Resonance Imaging equipment to produce tomographic films of designated portions of the human body for neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients in an outpatient setting.

Qualifications

REQUIRED

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology or Accredited Magnetic Resonance Imaging Program.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) with one (1) year of experience in diagnostic radiology or ARMRIT (MR) registry or ARRT (MR) only registry in lieu of ARRT (RT) certification and diagnostic radiology experience.
• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support

PREFERRED

• Registered MRI Technologist by ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT (MR)
• One (1) year of training and experience in MRI.
