Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking a skilled MRI technologist to operate MRI equipment and produce tomographic films for neonate to geriatric patients in outpatient settings.

Ideal candidates are graduates of an accredited MRI or Radiologic Technology program with MR registry experience or ARRT MR eligibility and BLS certification. Work hours are 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program or an accredited MRI program.
• Must be RT registered with 1 year experience in diagnostic radiology or MR registry (ARMRIT MR) or ARRT MR only registry in lieu of RT.
• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS).

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI equipment to produce tomographic films for patients of all ages in outpatient settings.

Responsibilities

Magnetic Resonance Imaging equipment to produce tomographic films of designated portions of the human body for neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients in an outpatient setting.

Qualifications

REQUIRED

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology or Accredited Magnetic Resonance Imaging Program.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) with one (1) year of experience in diagnostic radiology or ARMRIT (MR) registry or ARRT (MR) only registry in lieu of ARRT (RT) certification and diagnostic radiology experience.
• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support

PREFERRED

• Registered MRI Technologist by ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT (MR)
• One (1) year of training and experience in MRI.
