Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking an MRI Technologist to operate Magnetic Resonance Imaging equipment and produce tomographic images for neonate to geriatric patients in outpatient settings.

Qualifications include graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program, ARRT MR (or ARMRIT MR) eligibility/registration, and BLS certification. The role requires demonstrated accuracy and attention to patient safety within a dynamic imaging service.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology or Accredited Magnetic Resonance Imaging Program.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) with one year of experience or MR registry eligibility.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support

Responsibilities

Magnetic Resonance Imaging equipment to produce tomographic films of designated portions of the human body for neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients in an outpatient setting.

Qualifications

REQUIRED

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology or Accredited Magnetic Resonance Imaging Program.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) with one (1) year of experience in diagnostic radiology or ARMRIT (MR) registry or ARRT (MR) only registry in lieu of ARRT (RT) certification and diagnostic radiology experience.
• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support

PREFERRED

• Registered MRI Technologist by ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT (MR)
• One (1) year of training and experience in MRI.
