Job summary

Piedmont Henry Hospital is hiring an MRI Technologist to perform diagnostic MRI examinations and support patient care across all age groups. The role operates under the Radiologist’s guidance and adheres to established imaging standards.

Candidates should have an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited training, with no required experience and 6 months preferred. BCLS certification is required upon hire.

Qualifications

• AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program is required.
• No experience required; 6 months as an MRI Technologist preferred.
• BCLS certification required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic magnetic resonance examinations in accordance with prescribed standards.
• Image acquisition and quality control under the supervision of a Radiologist.
• Provide patient care across neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations.

Responsibilities

Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) technologists utilize the resonant frequency properties of atoms within a magnetic field to image anatomic and/or physiologic conditions of the body to assist physicians in the diagnosis of disease. MR technologists perform diagnostic magnetic resonance examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist. MR Technologists provide patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.
