Job summary

Piedmont Rockdale Hospital is seeking an MRI Technologist to join our diagnostic team in Conyers, GA. The role involves performing MRI examinations to image anatomical and physiological conditions, under the supervision of a Radiologist, and delivering compassionate patient care across all age groups.

Ideal candidates will have an AMA/FDA-approved Radiologic Technology education, ARDMS or ARRT credentials in Radiography, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Education: AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT-accredited hospital training.
• Work Experience: No experience required; 6 months as MRI Technologist preferred.
• Licenses: ARDMS or ARRT in Radiography; BLS required at hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic MRI examinations under Radiologist supervision.
• Image anatomic and physiologic conditions to assist diagnosis.
• Provide patient care across all ages including neonatal, pediatric, adult and geriatric.

Responsibilities: Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) technologists utilize the resonant frequency properties of atoms within a magnetic field to image anatomic and/or physiologic conditions of the body to assist physicians in the diagnosis of disease. MR technologists perform diagnostic magnetic resonance examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist. MR Technologists provide patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics. Qualifications:
