Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital in Georgia is seeking a Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Technologist to perform diagnostic MR examinations under the supervision of a Radiologist. You will image anatomical and physiologic conditions and provide patient care across all ages from neonates to geriatrics.

Required education includes AMA-approved Radiologic Technology training or JRCERT-accredited programs. ARDMS or ARRT certification and Basic Life Support are expected upon hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program
• No experience required

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic MRI examinations under the guidance of the Radiologist
• Provide patient care to all age groups including neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric
• Adhere to prescribed standards and safety protocols

Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) technologists utilize the resonant frequency properties of atoms within a magnetic field to image anatomic and/or physiologic conditions of the body to assist physicians in the diagnosis of disease. MR technologists perform diagnostic magnetic resonance examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist. MR Technologists provide patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.
