Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform diagnostic magnetic resonance imaging and support physicians with imaging needs. The role requires adherence to radiology standards and patient-centered care across all ages.

Under the supervision of a Radiologist, you will operate MRI equipment, ensure image quality, and maintain safety protocols. ARRT or ARDMS registration and BCLS certification are required upon hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program.
• No experience required.
• Licenses: ARDMS or ARRT - Radiographer Registered by ARRT; BCLS upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic MRI examinations under the direct guidance of a Radiologist.
• Provide patient care across neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations.

Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) technologists utilize the resonant frequency properties of atoms within a magnetic field to image anatomic and/or physiologic conditions of the body to assist physicians in the diagnosis of disease. MR technologists perform diagnostic magnetic resonance examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist. MR Technologists provide patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.
