Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform diagnostic MRI examinations under the supervision of a Radiologist. You will deliver high-quality imaging and ensure patient safety across neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations.

Requirements include AMA approved Radiologic Technology training or JRCERT accreditation, ARRT/ARDMS registration, and BCLS certification; no prior experience is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program.
• No experience required.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic MRI examinations under the supervision of a Radiologist.
• Provide patient care to all age groups including neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.
• Adhere to prescribed imaging standards and safety protocols.

Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) technologists utilize the resonant frequency properties of atoms within a magnetic field to image anatomic and/or physiologic conditions of the body to assist physicians in the diagnosis of disease. MR technologists perform diagnostic magnetic resonance examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist. MR Technologists provide patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.
