Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform diagnostic MRI examinations under the supervision of a Radiologist. You will care for patients across neonatal to geriatric ages and ensure adherence to clinical standards while operating MRI equipment.

The role requires completion of AMA approved Radiologic Technology training or JRCERT accredited program, with ARDMS/ARRT registration and BCLS certification upon hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program.
• No experience required.
• ARDMS or ARRT Radiographer Registered (R) Upon Hire.
• BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire.

Responsibilities

• MRI technologists perform diagnostic MRI examinations in accordance with prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the Radiologist and provide patient care to all age groups.

Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) technologists utilize the resonant frequency properties of atoms within a magnetic field to image anatomic and/or physiologic conditions of the body to assist physicians in the diagnosis of disease. MR technologists perform diagnostic magnetic resonance examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist. MR Technologists provide patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.
