Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking an MRI technologist to perform diagnostic MRI examinations under the supervision of a Radiologist. The role involves direct patient care across neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations.

Candidates must have an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited training, and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon hire. No prior experience is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program.
• No experience required.
• BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic MRI examinations under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist.
• Provide patient care to all age groups (neonatal to geriatrics) during imaging procedures.

Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) technologists utilize the resonant frequency properties of atoms within a magnetic field to image anatomic and/or physiologic conditions of the body to assist physicians in the diagnosis of disease. MR technologists perform diagnostic magnetic resonance examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist. MR Technologists provide patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.
