Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital in Georgia is seeking an MRI technologist to perform diagnostic MRI examinations and deliver patient care under the supervision of a Radiologist. You will image diverse patient populations and ensure safety and quality standards are met.

Requirements include graduation from an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited training, ARDMS or ARRT radiography registration upon hire, and BCLS certification. No experience is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program.
• No prior work experience required.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic MRI examinations under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist.
• Provide patient care across neonatal to geriatric age groups in accordance with prescribed standards.

Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) technologists utilize the resonant frequency properties of atoms within a magnetic field to image anatomic and/or physiologic conditions of the body to assist physicians in the diagnosis of disease. MR technologists perform diagnostic magnetic resonance examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist. MR Technologists provide patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.
