Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital in Atlanta, GA is seeking an MRI technologist to perform diagnostic MR examinations under the guidance of a Radiologist. You will image anatomic and physiologic conditions and provide patient care across neonatal to geriatric patients in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities include applying resonant frequency imaging techniques, adhering to AMA/JRCERT standards, and maintaining BCLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program.
• No experience required
• ARDMS or ARRT - Radiographer Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology and BCLS - Basic Life Support required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic MRI examinations under the supervision of a Radiologist.
• Provide patient care to all age groups from neonatal to geriatrics.
• Maintain standards of imaging safety and quality as prescribed.

Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) technologists utilize the resonant frequency properties of atoms within a magnetic field to image anatomic and/or physiologic conditions of the body to assist physicians in the diagnosis of disease. MR technologists perform diagnostic magnetic resonance examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist. MR Technologists provide patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.
