Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Medical Imaging required or Bachelor's Degree in Medical Imaging preferred.
• ARRT MRI certification preferred.
• MRI experience 1-2 years required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lead in stressful environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate information to physicians, patients, and employees while maintaining patient confidentiality at all times.
• Ensure the safety of MRI patients and staff in the high magnetic field environment.
• Screen patients and other medical staff prior to entering the MRI exam room for contraindications.
• Operate MRI equipment as directed by the Radiologist in charge of each exam.
• Utilize surface coils, pulse gating, cardiac gating, respiratory gating, and patient monitoring equipment.
• Tailor exams to each patient using independent judgment.
