Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Radiologic Technology required.
• Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, Radiologic Sciences, or related field preferred.
• Registered Technologist credential (ARRT) required.
• Advanced ARRT MR certification required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• State licensure, if applicable.
• Minimum 5 years MRI clinical experience required.
• Leadership/ supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience with advanced MRI procedures and MRI safety practices required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the daily workflow and operations of the MRI department.
• Coordinate staffing schedules for coverage including weekends, holidays, and call.
• Monitor department productivity, patient throughput, and quality metrics.
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nursing staff, and other departments to optimize care.
• Assist with budgeting, equipment planning, and resource allocation.
• Participate in strategic planning and department initiatives.
• Address concerns from patients, physicians, and staff promptly.
• Lead departmental meetings and communicate updates.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
