Job summary

Brigham and Women's Faulkner Hospital is seeking an MRI Technologist to ensure patient safety in the MRI suite and perform examinations under the Radiologist’s direction.

You will screen patients for contraindications, operate MRI equipment, and optimize imaging with coils, gating, and monitoring while maintaining confidentiality and clear communication with physicians and staff.

Qualifications

• Requires Associate's Degree in Medical Imaging.
• ARRT MR preferred; required licenses may apply.
• MRI experience of 1–2 years preferred; leadership experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI equipment as directed by Radiologist.
• Screen patients and staff for contraindications before MRI.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and provide accurate information to care teams.
• Tailor exams to individual patient needs using appropriate coils and gating.
