Job summary

2810 Brigham and Women's Faulkner Hospital, Inc. is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform MRI studies, prepare patients, and ensure high-quality imaging. You will select imaging protocols, process data, and collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other staff to ensure patient safety and efficient workflow.

The role requires ARRT or ARMRIT preferred, 1–2 years of MRI experience, and the ability to operate complex imaging systems while maintaining compliant safety standards.

Qualifications

• Education: Certificate/Diploma in Medical Imaging or an Associate's Degree.
• Licenses: ARRT preferred; ARMRIT preferred.
• Experience: MRI Technologist 1–2 years preferred.
• Skills: Operate MRI equipment with focus on patient safety and image quality.

Responsibilities

• Verify patient identity and exam details per Joint Commission standards.
• Conduct MRI scans, including image acquisition and processing.
• Perform IV insertions and contrast injections; monitor for adverse reactions.
• Educate patients on MRI safety and enforce safety protocols.
• Perform quality control checks on MRI equipment and report issues.
• Assist with scheduling, patient transport, inventory, and filing.
