Qualifications

• Competent in IV insertion and venipuncture based on department need.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Proficient with computer applications and electronic mail.
• Able to follow directions and work independently with technologists, physicians and patients.

Responsibilities

• Assists patient in preparation for exam and provides basic instruction for routine procedures.
• Uses radiology computer systems to generate requisitions, check schedules and obtain patient information.
• Organizes and prepares exam rooms and work areas and maintains equipment.
• Greets patients and visitors, answers routine information requests and schedules appointments.
• Acts as liaison between ordering physician, radiologist and technologist.
• Provides radiology reports and radiographic images and manages health information records.
