Job summary

Advocate Health in Pineville, NC is seeking an MRI Technologist I to operate MRI scanners and associated equipment with high proficiency. The role supports weekdays 7am-4:30pm, with a 36-hour work week and pay range listed for MRI technologists.

Responsibilities include patient preparation, order verification with Radiology, and assisting in invasive procedures as needed, all while following radiation safety standards and departmental protocols.

Qualifications

• Graduate of ARRT-recognized Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine program; MRI registry eligible.
• MRI registry must be obtained within 1 year of hire.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Operates MRI scanners and related equipment per departmental protocols.
• Identify patients and prepare them for procedures with explanations.
• Review orders with Radiologist and verify details before scanning.
• Perform MRI exams and assist Physicians/PA during procedures, maintaining safety and sterility.
