Southern Bone & Joint Specialists PA is seeking a Part-time MRI Receptionist to be the first contact for patients and visitors at our MRI facility. You will manage patient flow, verify identification and insurance, and support scheduling and front-desk operations to ensure a smooth patient experience.

You will coordinate with MRI technologists and administrative staff, handle confidential information per HIPAA, and assist with billing inquiries and co-pays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience as receptionist/front desk, preferably in healthcare.
• Proficiency with computer systems including EHR and scheduling software.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.

Responsabilités

• Greet and check in patients for MRI appointments, verify ID and insurance information.
• Schedule, reschedule, and confirm MRI appointments using EHR systems and scheduling software.
• Answer incoming calls, respond to patient inquiries, and provide information about MRI procedures and preparation instructions.
• Maintain accurate patient records, ensuring confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Coordinate communication between patients, MRI technologists, radiologists, and administrative staff to optimize workflow.
• Collect co-payments and handle billing inquiries.
