RAYUS Radiology is looking for an MRI Technologist to join our team. We are challenging the status quo by shining light on radiology and making it a critical first step in diagnosis and proper treatment. As a Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) technologist, you will operate assigned scanner(s) to produce images of the patient's body for diagnostic purposes. You will provide MRI services with excellent customer service, guiding patients through the sometimes-difficult process and answering their questions.
Sign‑on bonus: $2500.00
DailyPay implementation is contingent upon initial set‑up period.
Position details: Full‑time, 40 hours per week, shift 1:30 pm – 9:30 pm.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Screens patients before exam for any precautions or contraindications and verifies patient identity using two identifiers.
- Explains MRI procedures to patients and positions them appropriately.
- Performs routine and advanced MRI procedures on designated body areas with minimal supervision.
- Adjusts MRI scan parameters correctly as needed.
- Follows physicians’ orders precisely, complies with safety regulations, and accurately maintains patient records within the Radiology Information System (RIS).
- Maintains an orderly and clean work area, promoting safety for patients and coworkers.
- Maintains ACR toolkit and meets accreditation requirements.
- Assists with an updated imaging protocol manual and software upgrades.
- Monitors medical supply inventory and requests supplies as necessary.
- Assists with training new associates, providing resources and technical expertise.
- Completes other tasks as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- ARRT or ARMRIT registered technologist, current and in good standing, per state regulation.
- Graduate of an AMA‑approved school of radiography.
- Licensed Radiological Technologist in the applicable state, if required.
- Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
- Training and experience sufficient to competently perform MRI procedures independently.
- Certification in an imaging specialty.
