Job summary

Siemens Healthineers is seeking a Customer Service Engineer to service MR imaging equipment throughout the Detroit, MI region. The role involves installation, maintenance and operator training to ensure peak system performance, with accountability for budget, expenses and inventory in the territory.

The position requires a high school diploma or technical degree and 3–5+ years of field service experience, plus strong customer service and communication skills and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma, Technical Degree or equivalent experience.
• 3-5+ years of field service experience.
• Proficiency with service tools and test equipment.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to travel domestically within assigned geography and participate in on-call rotation after training.

Responsibilities

• Service MR imaging equipment in the Detroit, MI area; level based on experience.
• Install, service, maintain and modify Siemens imaging equipment at customer sites.
• Deliver timely repairs and train operators to ensure optimal system performance.
• Manage territory financial performance including revenue, expenses and inventory.
• Maintain company assets (car, cell phone, computer, tools, inventory).
• Establish and maintain professional relationships with customers and peers and perform administrative duties accurately.
