Job summary

Siemens Healthineers is seeking an experienced Medical Imaging Field Engineer III to service MR systems in the DC Metro area. You will install, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on Siemens equipment while delivering operator training to ensure peak performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma. Technical degree, military training, or equivalent applicable training preferred.
• 5+ years’ experience of complex electro-mechanical, or as a medical technologist or field service engineer servicing diagnostic instruments.
• Must be proficient in the use of tools and service test equipment (DMM, Oscilloscope, torque wrenches, etc.).
• Ability to work individually and in a team setting.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Service MR equipment in the DC Metro area, including installation, troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance.
• Deliver timely and effective repairs and training of operators to ensure optimal system performance and customer satisfaction.
• Help manage financial performance within the territory through inventory management, time management, and timely service call closure.
• Manage company assets (car, cell phone, computer, tools, inventory parts) and maintain accurate administrative duties.
• Establish and maintain professional relationships with customers and peers.
