Job summary

Siemens Healthineers is seeking a Customer Service Engineer to service MR Imaging Equipment in the Detroit, MI area. You will install, service, maintain and modify Siemens imaging equipment at customer sites, delivering timely repairs and operator training to ensure peak system performance.

This field-based role requires strong customer service and communication skills, the ability to travel, and the capacity to manage assets and territory budgets while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum a high school diploma or technical degree is required.
• 3–5+ years of field service experience is desired.
• Must be proficient with tools and service test equipment.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to travel and work in assigned geography.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Physical requirements including lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Service MR imaging equipment in the Detroit, MI area.
• Install, service, maintain and modify Siemens imaging equipment at customer sites.
• Provide timely repairs and operator training to ensure optimal performance.
• Manage territory financial performance including revenue, expenses, and inventory.
• Manage company assets such as car, phone, computer, and tools.
• Establish and maintain business relationships with customers and peers, and perform administrative duties.
