Job summary

A leading recruitment firm is seeking a Field Service Engineer in Detroit, Michigan. This role involves maintaining, repairing, and calibrating complex medical imaging equipment like CT, MRI, PET, and SPECT. Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience and be factory trained by major manufacturers such as Philips, GE, or Siemens. Excellent communication skills and adherence to medical facility policies are critical. This position is open to US citizens only.

Qualifications

• 3-7 years working with Diagnostic Imaging Medical Equipment - MR, CT, PET or SPECT.
• Experience working in medical facilities in a professional manner.
• Ability to perform orderly and efficient work while adhering to medical facility policy.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for performing maintenance on medical imaging equipment.
• Repair, install and calibrate complex medical imaging devices.
• Inform managers about repairs and customer concerns.
• Maintain inventory of common failure parts.
• Works with, directs and documents the activities of subcontractors, vendors and outside service technicians to ensure proper service delivery.

About the job Field Service Engineer - Detroit

• Responsible for the following devices:
• CT, MRI, PET,SPECT
• Experience in the medical imaging field preferred.
• Performs scheduled maintenance and operation verification procedures on complex medical imaging equipment
• Repairs, installs and calibrates complex medical imaging equipment devices and systems
• Informs managers of the status of repairs, scheduled inspections, unusual equipment situations and any customer concerns
• Performs periodic inspections of current inventory status and maintains inventory of common failure parts to ensure equipment uptime
• Works with, directs and documents the activities of subcontractors, vendors and outside service technicians to ensure proper service delivery

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• A.S. Degree from an accredited school in electronics or DOD certification or equivalent experience.
• 3-7 years working with Diagnostic Imaging Medical Equipment- MR, CT, PET or SPECT
• Experience working in medical facilities in a professional manner
• Ability to perform orderly and efficient work while adhering to medical facility policy
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as interpersonal skills

Required Citizenship / Work Permit / Visa Status

Must have Recent Field Service Engineer experience Minimum 3+ years of experience
Must have Recent experience in the required modality - MR & CT
Must be Factory or formally trained by PHILIPS, GE, or SIEMENS OR Third party Training from RSTI or ALL PARTS
Must provide trained certificate from any of the OEM (Philips/GE/Siemens)
