Edward Rose & Sons, LLC is seeking a Make Ready Maintenance Technician to join our on-site operations team in Portage, MI. You will restore vacant apartment homes to market-ready status and complete turnkey maintenance to meet move-in deadlines.

Responsibilities include drywall, painting, appliance and fixture repairs, and basic carpentry. Prior maintenance experience is preferred; training is available. We offer paid time off, 401(k) with matching, and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Experience in building maintenance, drywall, painting, electrical, plumbing, carpentry or HVAC is preferred.
• Ability to communicate with residents and coworkers effectively.
• Own tools and reliable transportation are required or training may be provided.

Responsibilities

• Restore vacant apartment homes to market-ready status.
• Complete full vacant turn process to meet move-in deadlines (drywall, painting, caulking, grouting).
• Repair or replace appliances, faucets, disposals, locks, windows; basic carpentry and ceramic tile work.
• Complete administrative paperwork as necessary.
• Assist with snow and ice removal as required.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor.
