Job summary

Edward Rose & Sons is seeking a Make Ready Maintenance Technician to join our on-site operations team in Indiana. You will help prepare vacant apartments to market-ready status and ensure timely turnover to meet move-in deadlines.

The role requires experience in building maintenance (drywall, painting, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC), owning your own tools, and reliable transportation. We offer comprehensive benefits, company match 401(k), paid time off, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience in building maintenance (drywall, painting, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, flooring) preferred.
• HVAC certification or experience preferred.
• Must possess own tools.
• Professional appearance and dress code adherence.
• Able to communicate effectively with residents and coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring that all vacant apartment homes are restored to market-ready status
• Completing full vacant turn process in a timely manner to meet move-in deadlines including drywall repairs, painting, caulking and grouting
• Repair or replace appliances, faucets, garbage disposals, entry locks, windows as well as carpentry and ceramic tile installation
• Completing administrative paperwork as necessary
• Assisting with snow and ice removal, as required
• Additional duties as assigned by supervisor
