Job summary
Edward Rose & Sons, LLC is seeking a Make Ready Maintenance Technician to join our on-site operations team in Grand Rapids, MI. You will restore vacant apartments to market-ready condition and complete the turn process to meet move-in deadlines.
Responsibilities include repairing appliances, fixtures, drywall, painting, and basic carpentry. Requirements include prior maintenance experience and HVAC familiarity; training may be provided. We offer comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.
Qualifications
- Experience in building maintenance preferred; training may be provided.
- HVAC certification or experience preferred; training available.
- Must own tools and have reliable transportation.
- Good communication with residents and coworkers.
- Basic computer skills and willingness to learn software
Responsibilities
- Restore vacant apartment homes to market-ready status.
- Complete full vacant turn process to meet move-in deadlines.
- Repair or replace appliances, faucets, locks, windows; carpentry and tile work.
- Complete administrative paperwork.
- Assist with snow and ice removal.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
