Job summary

Alterra Mountain Company’s Solitude Mountain Resort is seeking a Seasonal Restaurant Server to join our Food and Beverage team. You will take food and beverage orders, know the menu, and help ensure timely delivery with team coordination and guest-focused service.

Responsibilities include setting up dining spaces, answering questions, handling reservations, and supporting kitchen and other staff. Flexibility for weekends/holidays is expected; enjoy mountain living with the perks we offer.

Qualifications

• Exceptional organization and time management skills.
• Strong customer service standards.
• Ability to collaborate with team and communicate clearly.
• Willing to work flexible hours including holidays and weekends.
• Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs.
• Current state-required certifications such as Food Handler’s Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Take orders and enter into system.
• Know menu and recommend to guests.
• Set up restaurant for service with linens, silverware, and stemware.
• Answer phones and schedule reservations.
• Assist manager, kitchen, host, and other servers; perform tasks as needed.
• Close and clean and prep for next day.
