Job summary

Solitude Mountain Resort is seeking a Restaurant Server for the seasonal dining service, offering a breathtaking mountain view and fast-paced guest interactions. The role involves taking orders, guiding guests through the menu, and coordinating with kitchen staff to ensure timely service, with a focus on delivering excellent hospitality during meals.

Ideal candidates will have strong communication and organization, flexibility to work holidays/weekends, and the ability to stand for long periods.

• Take food and beverage orders and accurately enter them into the ordering system.
• Be knowledgeable about the menu and be able to make recommendations and answer guests' questions.
• Set up the restaurant for food service, set tables with linens, silverware, and stemware.
• Answer incoming phone calls and schedule reservations for customers.
• Help the restaurant manager, kitchen staff, host, and other servers when needed and complete additional tasks as needed.

Solitude is looking for a server with excellent coordination and people skills to bring our expectation of great customer service to the next level during our guest's dining experience. The restaurant server is to sell the menu and place orders with the kitchen to ensure proper timing of delivery. Anticipate all guest's needs and provide prompt and friendly service. • Close and clean the restaurant and prepare for food service the next day0
