Job summary

Alterra Mountain Company's Solitude Village is seeking a Seasonal Restaurant Host/Hostess in the Food & Beverage division. The position starts Nov. 26 and runs through May 27, offering a part-time, hourly schedule.

You will greet guests, manage reservations, escort guests to tables, and help maintain smooth dining flow with a welcoming, guest-focused approach. Ideal candidates have excellent communication, strong organization, and the ability to work during peak times, weekends, and holidays in

Responsibilities

• Greet guests as they arrive with a friendly and welcoming demeanor.
• Escort guests to their assigned tables, taking into account reservations, group sizes, and special requests.
• Manage waiting lists and inform guests about estimated wait times.
• Handle reservation inquiries, both over the phone and in person.
• Maintain an accurate record of reservations, ensuring efficient use of available tables.
• Confirm reservations in advance and communicate any special requests to the kitchen and serving staff.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guests' questions, concerns, and special requests.
