Job summary

AllSearch Professional Staffing, Inc. is seeking an Inside Sales Engineer in Elk Grove Village, IL. This in-office role combines engineering knowledge, technical support, and inside sales to respond to inquiries, support existing accounts, and help with product sizing and selection.

The position requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering and 1+ years of related experience. Travel is occasional; work is primarily in-office with standard hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or engineering technology.
• 1+ years of relevant engineering experience or internship experience.
• Experience in technical problem-solving and customer interaction.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to customers.

Responsibilities

• Respond to inbound customer inquiries and identify technical and application requirements.
• Recommend appropriate motors, actuators, drives, and motion-control components.
• Manage and develop an assigned account portfolio via phone and email.
• Follow up on quotes and identify additional sales opportunities.
• Perform product sizing and selection after training and collaborate with application engineers.
• Provide technical product information and support customers through implementation.
• Qualify new accounts, evaluate potential, and maintain a sales pipeline.
• Support account development and customer relationship management activities.
• Coordinate with outside sales as opportunities grow.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related engineering discipline
