Job summary

Ferman Automotive Group in Florida seeks a Motorcycle Service Advisor to be the primary contact for guests in the service department. You will greet guests, document concerns, recommend maintenance, and prepare repair orders while keeping clients informed throughout the service process.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or tech training preferred.
• Experience with powersports, automotive service, or guest-facing roles preferred.
• Ability to explain technical motorcycle information clearly to guests.
• Familiarity with dealership management systems (DMS) and basic computer skills.
• Professional appearance and strong interpersonal communication are essential.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and document motorcycle concerns and service needs.
• Create and manage repair orders per dealership procedures.
• Explain maintenance recommendations, repair requirements and estimates.
• Maintain guest communication through service progress and completion.
• Coordinate with technicians for diagnosis and efficient workflow.
• Upsell maintenance, accessories, and protection products when appropriate.
• Schedule service appointments and manage shop traffic.
• Assist Parts to ensure availability of required parts and accessories.
• Handle warranty claims and related documentation as needed.
• Follow up with guests after service to ensure satisfaction.
