Job summary

Justrite Safety Group is seeking a Motion Safety Business Unit Controller to oversee financial performance, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance. You will partner with the Motion Safety leadership team to drive improvements and provide strategic financial insights across the business unit.

You will report to the Director of Finance, with a dotted line to the Business Unit General Manager, and have opportunities for career growth within 3–5 years.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field (CPA or MBA preferred).
• 7–10 years in financial management and reporting roles.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and cost accounting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for the business unit.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
• Consolidate financial statements for the group and provide insights to senior leadership.
• Drive KPI development with operations leadership to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
• Lead and mentor a team of financial professionals responsible for subsidiary accounting.
• Communicate financial performance, trends, and forecasts to senior leadership.
